last nite was a fucking blast
before going to see Pacifica ... Geo runs into LOUISE FUCKING BELCHER, Kristen Schaal, headlining a comedy show before the bar turned into a venue for the band. we caught her last few lines, ordered a brew and wanted for 9:15 to hit.
her voice is undeniable and she's genuinely hilarious.
when the time came to line up for Pacifica we were right front and center. if you didnt know, Pacifica is a duo formed by internet friends Ines Adam and Martina Nintzel in 2022 after a life changing trip to New York City where they got signed to LA label Tag Music. Based in Buenos Aires, the duo recently released their debut LP "Freak Scene" so of course they played the classic bangers from it including Closer and Anita. They also gave us a stellar cover of Take On Me by A-ha, the setlist left me wanting more.
